18 Year Old Deceased, 16 Year Old Sent To Hospital

(GUELPH-ERAMOSA, ON) Members of the Wellington County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a single-vehicle collision that resulted in a fatality.
On Thursday, October 30, 2025, at approximately 4:00 p.m., OPP officers, Paramedic Services, Ornge and Fire Services responded reports of a collision on Eastview Road in Guelph-Eramosa Township.
As a result of the incident, an 18-year-old male was pronounced deceased at the scene, and a 16-year-old male was transported to a Trauma Centre in Hamilton with non-life-threatening injuries. Eastview Road between Davis Street and Jones Baseline remains closed as cleanup efforts are underway.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation, and OPP West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) Team is assisting with the investigation.
