25-Year-Old From Walkerton Arrested After Alleyway Emergence

(BROCKTON, ON) An All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) operator was arrested for impaired driving after being stopped by the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
On October 4, 2025, at approximately 6:35 p.m., a member of the South Bruce OPP was parked along Colborne Street South when they observed an ATV emerge from an alleyway and onto the roadway. The officer noticed the rider was not wearing a helmet, did not have a number plate affixed to the ATV, and failed to stop for a stop sign.
A traffic stop was initiated where the officer spoke with the rider and detected signs of impairment. They were placed under arrest and transported for further testing.
Sean COMYN, 25-years-old, resident of Walkerton, was charged with:
Operation while impaired B.A.C. 80+, CC 320.14(1)(b)
Driving while under suspension, HTA 53(1)
No helmet, HTAReg 316 19(1)
Off-road vehicle no number plate, ORVA 3(1)
The accused is set to appear at the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice on November 5, 2025, to answer to the charges.
