(TOWN OF WASAGA BEACH, ON) The Major Crime Unit of the Huronia West OPP is notifying the public of an arrest made in Sexual Assault investigations stemming from multiple incidents.
It is alleged that:
In March 2025, the accused established contact with a young person, posing as Justin, 15yrs., using Snapchat, a popular online social media application, for the purposes of committing a criminal offence.
It is further alleged that:
In the Fall of 2024, while in the area of Wasagas Beach Area #1, the accused sexually assaulted a young person.
On Friday, March 14, 2025, Christopher SISSON, 23-year-old of Wasaga Beach, was arrested and charged with:
One count of Luring a Child
One count of Sexual Assault
One count of Sexual Interference
He is scheduled to appear in court at the Ontario Court of Justice, Collingwood, on April 8, 2025. Investigators are concerned there may be more victims. An image has been released.
